Ban on plastic bags fails

The growing problem of plastic bag usage is still very much in the news, as recently mentioned in the Daily Mail which stated over 300 millions bags were issued last year. Our local newspaper, The Huddersfield Examiner, highlighted the attempt by Kirklees Council to ban plastic bag usage over a period of time.
Footprint Bag realised the problem why many reusable bags were not being adopted was down to practicality, compactness, style, convenience and durability. Obviously, cost is a factor in the current economic time, so Footprint Bag products are designed to address these issues and eradicate the use of plastic bags, at an affordable cost to the customer.
